LANFest Northwest (sponsored by Intel) is back!

LANFest Northwest will be held on March 2nd - 4th at the Intel Ronler Acres campus (building RA3) in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Come join us again for a 140 person Bring-Your-Own-Computer (BYOC) LAN, try your best in various contests & tournaments, and play your favorite games with friends. If you are new, welcome, and prepare to have a great time!

Ticket Types:

  • BYOC (Bring your own Computer) Ticket cost: $25 before the event and $35 at the door. Ticket cost includes 1 raffle ticket for entry into Sunday's raffle, filled with prizes from our sponsors.

What to bring:

For everyone:

  • Your government issued ID (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport)
  • Your payment confirmation from Paypal or money to pay at the door
  • Signed Waiver (if you are under 18, your legal guardian needs to sign the waiver).
  • If you are 15 and under, you must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the entire event.

For BYOC attendees, please bring:

  • A note with your reserved seat number
  • Computer and display (or laptop)
  • Headphones (speakers are not allowed)
  • Games (and their required discs if applicable)
  • LONG Network cable (25ft)
  • Power and Video Cables
  • Mouse and Keyboard and/or Joystick/GamePad

Power Restrictions:
Two (2) 110V sockets (desktop and monitor) for a combined current of 3.0A maximum. Anything beyond a computer and monitor has to be approved by the admins. Computer power supplies should be limited to 650W. We will not be checking them at the door, but may check them if there is a power issue on your circuit. Anyone exceeding this limit will be asked to remove their system from the event.

Note: If you have power adapters that take up additional space on a power strip, please bring a short extension cable so you do not block other participants sockets.

What not to bring:

  • Surge protectors (We provide them).
  • More than 2 powered devices, unless you purchase a second seat
  • Sofas, Recliners, Futons, and other large Furniture of the sort. (You can, however, bring your own chair!)
  • Drugs, Alcohol, Weapons, etc.
  • A bad attitude.

Failure to follow these rules is grounds for dismissal from the event at the admin discretion.

Important Information For Those Under 18
For those of you planning to attend LANFest Northwest who are under 18, please download, print, and have your legal guardian complete the LANFest event waiver. You must present this completed form at LANFest check-in desk in order to participate. Don't forget!

There is a curfew for unaccompanied minors.  Anyone under 18 without their parent/guardian present must leave at 10PM and cannot return until 7AM.  No exceptions!  

Note: Children age 15 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the entire event.

BYOC Seat Reservation How To
BYOC Seats can only be reserved after your payment has been received and your balance reaches $0.00. If there is a seat you want at the event, make sure you pay your balance using the PayPal banners located on your event's page at http://lanfest.intel.com.


IMPORTANT: Your place at LANFest is confirmed only when you have both paid AND selected your seat. Seats are available on a first to reserve basis. Payment alone does not confirm your seat.
