Come on this is nothing but a cheap console port.

They want us to spend the $60, THEN find out that IWNet sucks
No way they are going to let anyone preview that, nobody would buy the game then

I swear this has made me pretty upset as someone who games alot. The my group of 27 where all going to buy the game but after the jokes and pretty much bs on the server/ 100ms ping forget it. They all canceled their orders which was fine by me but acclaim says publiclly it is not worried about the PC sales............

This would have been the next big PC FPS hit.  Bigger than COD4.  Postal is not kidding when he says we all cancelled our pre-orders.  The more details we find out the worse it gets.  MW2 is DOA to the PC gaming community.  Maybe the backlash from this will prevent other from making the mistake of going with IWNet and the way of console style multiplayer gaming.

Guess we will have to find a different game for the future.

Of course they aren't worried about the PC sales.  The moves they are making prove that!

I find it really funny how other companies are making it a point to mention dedicated server support or not now.

The biggest reason yet that will keep me from buying the game.  MW3 is nearly complete!

I went ahead and bought the 360 version
If I want to play a console game, might as well buy it for console

I unfortunately picked up MW2 despite IW pissing off the PC gaming community. I heard IWNet blows chunks, and there's no lean.  I have yet to install it, been too busy with school.  I didn't pick up COD5 since I played the beta so I'm waiting for the price to drop.  I was tempted to do the same but either way I had to go to the store, so figured to get MW2 out of the way now. You should see some of the dev quotes above.

This is why IW won't listen to anyone about anything...

Setting up a Lan game for COD:MW2 is going to be and issue for infernal lan. From what I’ve read this is how you set up a LAN game: everyone logs into steam (using a internet connection), someone sets up a private game in Steam (using a internet connection), and invite each individual players who wants to play (using a internet connection), the software picks a host (through a internet connection), and then everyone connects and plays (using their internet connections), Now you have a LAN game.

Uhhh wait… that’s not a LAN setup , that’s a private internet game setup…doah

But all this make sense cuz it’s a F***King console port. And you don’t LAN console together often to play do you? SO if the Console version wasn’t balanced to do it, the PC version won’t be balanced to do it either… another game balancing win for IW.
