Minor Policy - Still Shit (but thanks for trying)
What exactly has to be shown to prove one is a legal guardian of another? I'm guessing a signed waiver from your dad along with a signed note (notarized, to be dickishly thorough?) stating that he is extending guardianship rights to you during this time should be enough I would think?

There is another thread that posts links to legal temporary guardianship documents. Check that out. Make sure you get it all filled in properly and such.
We're aware that we're not quite where we need to be on the Minor policy just yet. We got this small consolation and grabbed on to it with grubby fingers as hard as we could. We're still working on the details, but I do like the temporary legal guardianship documents. I'm going to bring these to the internal Security and see if we can find something similar that they're happy about without requiring people to become parents.

With this adjusted minor rule, my 16 year old brother still can't stay at the LAN for its entirety. My question is as to whether I can vouch for him to stay during the curfew, considering I am an adult relative (I would assume my brother would still need a waiver from our father, which he'd be more than happy to fill out).
Either way, I thank you guys for at least putting forth some effort to have these rules adjusted, but in the end Intel has still ruined this event for my brother and many other teens his age who planned to attend InfernaLAN. In the future I will be looking for other LAN parties that are more family friendly.
