Intel LAN Fest InfernaLAN is here again!!!

The 16th InfernaLAN will be held in DuPont, Washington on November 20th - 22nd, 2009 (Friday 8p.m. to Sunday 8a.m.). at the local Intel campus. This InfernaLAN will be a 36-hour, 300-person LAN fest.

Come join again for the good time you always find at InfernaLAN! Expect the PC Case Mod Contest, increasingly popular Console Room and the loud Rockband action. And of course the best run PC tournaments in the Northwest. And who can forget the great Shocker Raffle!

Tickets will be available in the following flavors:

  1. BYOC Ticket cost: $25 before event and $30 at door.
  2. BYOC = Bring your own Computer/Console
  3. (2) power connections per seat ONLY!
  4. (1) PC or Console unit per BYOC seat ONLY!

All ticket packages go up by $5 at the door after online registration closes.  Any remaining available seats will be filled on a first-come first-served basis on the day of the event.

Spectators may enter the event for free, but are not eligible for tournaments, activities, or raffles.

What to bring

For everyone:

  • Your payment confirmation from Paypal or money to pay at the door
  • Signed Waiver (if you are 16 or 17, your parent or guardian needs to sign the waiver).
    • Note: Waiver being updated, available soon.
  • If you are 15 and under, you must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the entire event.

For BYOC attendees:

  • A note with your reserved seat number
  • Computer and display (or laptop)
  • Headphones (speakers are not allowed)
  • Games (and their required discs if applicable)
  • LONG Network cable (25ft)
  • Power and Video Cables
  • Mouse and Keyboard (and Joystick/GamePad if you use these)
  • Surge Protectors will be provided (you will not be allowed to use your own)
 Power Restrictions

Two (2) sockets (desktop and monitor) for a combined current of 3.0A maximum. Anything beyond a computer and monitor has to be approved by the admins.
Failure to follow these rules is grounds for dismissal from the event at the admin discression.
Important Information For Those Under 18

For those of you planning to attend Intel LAN Fest InfernaLAN Fall 2009 who are 16 or 17, please download, print, and have your legal guardian complete the Intel LAN Fest InfernaLAN Fall 2009 Disclaimer and Legal Form.

Every attendee that is 16 or 17 years old must present this completed form at Intel LAN Fest check-in in order to participate. Don't forget!

Children aged 15 and under must be acompanied by a legal guardian for the entire event.
BYOC Seat Reservation How To

BYOC Seats can only be reserved after your payment has been received and your balance reaches $0.00. If there is a seat you want at the event, make sure you pay your balance using the Paypal banners located on your event's page at http://lanfest.intel.com.

To Reserve Your BYOC Seat:
1) Log into the Intel LAN Fest Portal and click on your My Registration link at the top of the page.
2) Select your Event
3) Click on the Select Seat button. A new window will open up containing the BYOC Seating Grid.
4) Click on your desired seat (you can only select an empty seat). The BYOC Seating window will close.
5) Click on the Confirm Seat button on your My Registration page to finish the process and lock in your seat.

Note that you must click on CONFIRM SEAT (step 4) to finish your seating selection.

To Change your BYOC Seat:
1) Repeat steps 1 - 3 above
2) Under Change Seat: click Select Seat
3) Repeat steps 4 - 5 above

If you experience an issue or have questions, BYOC Seats may alternatively be changed via Support Ticket if you balance has been paid. Most support tickets are resolved within 24 hours of being submitted.

Note: Your place at Intel LAN Fest is confirmed only when you have both paid AND selected your seat. Seats are available on a first to reserve basis. Payment alone does not confirm your seat.
