Minor Policy Update

Current minor policy updated for all events.
Minors not accompanied by parent or legal guardian, must leave the event by 10pm and can return after 7am.
Minors under 16 still have to be accompanied by thier parent/guardian at all times.
Minors 16 and over (under 18) must have a waiver signed by their parents and show identification.
LAN Fest Howie's SoCal being rescheduled

Intel LANFest Howies SoCal is being rescheduled until the first part of 2010. LANFest in our first event in Southern California wants to have the perfect first event for this awesome gaming community. The date chosen for Dec 4th-5th conflicted with another event in the area, “LANcryption”. So that gamers do not have to chose between two great events LANFest is looking for a new date early in the New Year. Stay tuned for this event to open again. For those that have already registered you can submit for a refund at anytime or your registration will be automatically transferred to the event at the new date.
Intel Gaming Survey With iPod Nano Giveaway

Intel is conducting a survey of US gamers age 18 and up. The purpose of this survey is to collect information from gamers about their gaming equipment ownership/usage and their view of Intel products (particularly Intel's Core i7 Extreme Edition processors). This survey is accompanied by a prize giveaway to a random participant. The sweepstakes/survey end date is November 16th, 2009 at 11:59PM PST. One (1) grand prize will be given out: an Apple iPod Nano, with approximate retail value (ARV) of $150. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
